What is the Stay Wild all about?

Stay Wild is a family-friendly event where 100s of families will be taking part in a variety of workshops, activities, re-enactment demos and listening to live music.

When is Stay Wild Weekend happening?

The Stay Wild Weekend is a yearly event in July and the next weekend is happening 18th – 20th July 2025

Where can I buy tickets?

Day tickets will come out at a later date.

Under 5’s are free.

Are campers allowed campfires?

No! Any disposable bbqs, fire pits etc will have to be disposed of as we must look after the site, the country park does NOT allow any of these.

You are allowed raised bbqs, camping stoves etc but these must not touch the ground.

Please leave no trace.

What activities, workshops, entertainment, exhibits and stall holders will be at Stay Wild Weekend 2025

We have a variety of different activities each year, some return and some we change up. We update what we do have nearer the time of the event.

What are the parking facilities on site?

There will be Free parking available on site.

Do you have disabled access?

We have parking near the entrance for disabled parking.

Guests with accessible needs are entitled to a free carer ticket for one personal assistant/carer who accompanies any disabled guest. Proof required and to be shown on the gate.

The site is grass with some areas being un level, there is a gravel path that runs right through the middle making it more accessible to all areas.

Are Camper Vans Allowed?

Yes

Are awnings allowed? 

Yes, unless in bad weather with wind and rain as we don’t want to cause any unnecessary injuries.

Are roof tents allowed?

Yes

What are the camping facilities on site?

  • Toilets
  • Access to Freshwater
  • Water tap located at the visitors centre a short walk away.

Parking for camping

Park and walk to pitch your tent only a few feet away

No vehicles/driving in the tent pitch area for safety reasons

There will be a parking steward to guide you

Are day tickets available to buy on the day?

Yes, you can purchase your tickets online or on entry to the festival.

I have a receipt of payment but no tickets!

On arrival you just need to give the name the booking was made under and we will give you your wrist bands.

Are dogs allowed?

Only guide dogs are allowed
